Joint statement on the establishment of study group on customs union (Paris, 12 September 1947)
Text On 12 September 1947, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey and the United Kingdom form a study group on customs union in Paris in order to study the possibilities of ensuring a healthy and stable economy for Europe in the light of the development of world trade.
