On 25 and 26 October 1963, the Council of Ministers of Western European Union (WEU) meets in The Hague, in the Netherlands. The delegations of the WEU Member States discuss the development of East–West relations and particularly mention the dialogue between Western countries and the Soviet Union on disarmament.
