Telegram from Jean-Paul Garnier to Antoine Pinay on the forthcoming initiative by Johan Willem Beyen to revive European economic integration (16 April 1955)
Text On 16 April 1955, the French Ambassador to the Netherlands, Jean-Paul Garnier, sends the French Foreign Ministry the translation of a press release by Dutch Foreign Minister Johan Willem Beyen. The Ambassador goes on to comment on the fact that the Dutch government is counting on support, including that of the French government, for the revival of European economic integration.
