The CVCE to join the new interdisciplinary centre for contemporary history at the University of Luxembourg in 2016

On 5 June 2015, the Luxembourg Government proposed the establishment of a high-level interdisciplinary centre for contemporary history at the University of Luxembourg.

The CVCE will join this centre in 2016. The centre’s guiding principle is based on the CVCE’s existing institutional model, namely combining the field of humanities and social sciences with novel digital technologies.

The CVCE welcomes the fact that its digital research infrastructure on European integration (DRI-EI), its innovative research projects and the extensive experience in European integration studies and digital humanities accumulated by its team over more than 10 years will form an integral part of the new interdisciplinary centre.
