The CVCE participates in the 2015 Text Encoding Initiative Conference and Members’ Meeting

The CVCE recently participated in the 2015 TEI Conference and Members’ Meeting on the theme ‘Connect — Animate — Innovate’, which took place in Lyon from 28 to 31 October. The paper ‘From a Small-Scale Digital Edition to a TEI Publication Framework in Modern European History’ was presented by Florentina Armaselu, a researcher in the CVCE’s Digital Humanities Lab (DH Lab). The presentation focused on the encoding and visualisation of a pilot XML-TEI sample on the topic of armament production, standardisation and control within Western European Union (WEU), as well as on the ongoing project to build a TEI-based framework for the publication of documents about European integration history on the CVCE’s website.
