Ghislain Sillaume holds a Master's degree in Business Informatics from the University of Nancy, where he was awarded a prize in multimedia design. He began his career by working in IT consultancy in the industrial, institutional and banking sectors for several years before joining the CVCE in 2003. Within the CVCE's IT Department, he worked as a project manager with responsibility for developing external partnerships and coordinating participation in competitive calls for proposals. Ghislain has been involved in a wide range of projects under the EU's FP6, CIP-ICT-PSP and FP7 programmes. He joined the CVCE's Digital Humanities Lab when it was set up, before becoming National and European Project Coordinator in the CVCE's Project Management Office.
