The CVCE presents its research work at the UACES annual conference

From 2 to 4 September 2013, UACES (the academic association for contemporary European studies) will be holding its 43rd annual conference in Leeds. This year's theme is ‘Exchanging ideas on Europe'. The interdisciplinary conference, at which nearly 300 papers will be presented, covers all aspects of European studies.


CVCE researcher Dr Elena Rodica Danescu will be taking part in the panel ‘The founding fathers of the euro: Individuals and ideas in the history of European monetary union' with a paper entitled ‘Pierre Werner — A "founding father" of the euro'.
