‘France’s recovery goes hand in hand with the unification of Europe’ from the Force Ouvrière (11 April 1957)
Texte On 11 April 1957, welcoming the signing on 25 March 1957 in Rome of the Treaties establishing the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom), Raymond Le Bourre, Confederal Secretary of the Workers’ Force Confederation (FO), emphasises that the working class must participate in the European integration process.
