‘Parliament gives discharge to the Commission but not to the Council' from the Europe Daily Bulletin (24 April 2009)
Texte On 23 April 2009, the European Parliament gives discharge to the Commission in respect of the implementation of the budget for 2007, but refuses to do so for the Council. The Europe Daily Bulletin looks at the reasons for this refusal.
