TextOn 5 July 1947, the Austrian weekly newspaper Die österreichische Furche comments on the Franco-British initiative to convene a conference in Paris on European economic cooperation with a view to drawing up an inventory of resources and needs and a joint recovery programme for the Western European countries which have accepted the US aid provided under the Marshall Plan.
