‘A new Europe’ from Arbecht (30 March 1957)
Text On 30 March 1957, the Luxembourg trade union newspaper Arbecht welcomes the signing of the Treaties establishing the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom) and emphasises the role played by the trade unions in the establishment of the Common Market.
