Address given by Jean-Claude Juncker on the outcome of the Luxembourg Presidency and the European Council held on 16 and 17 June (Brussels, 22 June 2005)

On 22 June 2005, Jean-Claude Juncker, Luxembourg Prime Minister and President-in-Office of the European Council, gives an address to the European Parliament in which he summarises the achievements of the Luxembourg Presidency and of the European Council held on 16 and 17 June 2005. In his address, he refers to the absence of an agreement on the financial perspective and on the contentious issue of the British rebate.
