Cable from the Italian Permanent Representation to the EEC to the Italian Foreign Ministry on extending the work of the Werner Committee (Brussels, 10 June 1970)
Text In a diplomatic cable dated 10 June 1970, the Italian Permanent Representation to the EEC in Brussels informs its Foreign Ministry of the statement made by Pierre Werner, as well as various other views expressed regarding the establishment of economic and monetary union, at the meeting of the Council of Finance Ministers held the previous day. The main decision taken at this meeting was to further the work of the Werner Committee.
