Ceremonial welcome of Mohammed V in Rabat (6 March 1956)
Image On 6 March 1956, Mohammed V (Sidi Mohammed ben Youssef), Sultan of Morocco, makes his entry into the royal palace after returning from Paris, where he chaired the first stage of the talks between France and Morocco that were organised after the proclamation of Morocco’s independence on 2 March 1956.
