Former monastery of Berlaymont (Brussels)
Image In 1959, the Belgian State acquires the land of the Berlaymont monastery with a view to using it for the construction of a building that, in 1967, will become the main seat of the European Commission in Brussels, the ‘Berlaymont’ Building.
