‘Hoffman urges the ERP countries to act' from the Hannoversche Presse (2 January 1950)
Text On 2 January 1950, given the slow progress of the European unification process, the German daily newspaper Hannoversche Presse reports on the warning made by Paul Hoffman, Administrator of the Economic Cooperation Administration (ECA), the body responsible for the distribution of the funds provided under the Marshall Plan, to reduce US aid to the countries of Western Europe.
