Video In this interview excerpt, Robert Goebbels, General Secretary of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP) from 1971 to 1985, Minister for the Economy and Minister for Public Works from 1989 to 1999 and a Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2014, looks back at the Prague Spring, which was an attempt by Alexander Dubček, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, to establish democracy in the country in 1968. Robert Goebbels also describes the impact of these events in Luxembourg.
