Text On 21 February 1957, the Luxembourg trade union newspaper Sozialer Fortschritt publishes a memorandum from the Confederation of Christian Trade Unions on the economic and social implications of the Treaties establishing the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom).
