Note from the WEU Council on the SAC’s activities and the issues surrounding armaments standardisation (Paris, 6 March 1974)
Text On 6 March 1974, in anticipation of the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Western European Union (WEU), due to be held at ministerial level on 11 March 1974 in The Hague, the WEU Council publishes a note on the first measures implemented to revitalise the Standing Armaments Committee (SAC). The note sets out the conclusions and recommendations of the various delegations at the meeting of deputy national armaments directors and particularly lays down the French position on the SAC’s role.
