Text At a press conference held in Warsaw on 18 November 1989, Roland Dumas, French Foreign Minister and President-in-Office of the Council of the European Communities, outlines the aid granted by the European Economic Community (EEC) to Poland with a view to supporting the country in its efforts to move to a market economy, in particular through the establishment of a stabilisation fund.
