Press release issued by the Paris Summit (10 and 11 February 1961)
Text Meeting in Paris on 10 and 11 February 1961, the Heads of State or Government of the Six decide to establish an Intergovernmental Committee, to be chaired by the French diplomat, Christian Fouchet, with the task of submitting proposals on European political cooperation (EPC).
