As tensions run high between Israel and the Arab countries in the Middle East, the Assembly of Western European Union (WEU) puts a series of questions to the WEU Council on the possibility of placing an embargo on arms deliveries to the opposing countries in the region and the role that the countries of Western Europe might be able to play in restoring peace to the Middle East.
