Text On 5 July 1956, as parliamentary debates are held in France on Euratom, Louis Armand, Commissioner of the French Government and Chairman of the Industrial Equipment Committee at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), emphasises the importance of European cooperation in the field of nuclear energy.
