Letter from Walter Hallstein to the German representatives (Bonn, 15 August 1952)
Texte On 15 August 1952, Walter Hallstein, State Secretary at the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), informs the representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany in The Hague, Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris and Rome that the establishment of the Special Council of Ministers of the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) is scheduled for early September. Meeting in Luxembourg, the Council is to be chaired by the representative of the FRG.
