Présentation de l'origine de la Conférence sur la sécurité et la coopération en Europe (CSCE) en tant qu'instrument de la détente politique et militaire sur le continent européen au temps de la guerre froide et de son évolution dans l'Europe post-communiste en tant qu'organisation internationale consacrée notamment à la prévention et à la gestion des crises, rebaptisée en 1995 "Organisation pour la sécurité et la coopération en Europe" (OSCE).
